Bansko is one of the fastest developing ski resorts in Eastern Europe. Fans of the Bansko ski runs include world-champion skiers Alberto Tomba and Marc Girardelli. 

The resort offers skiers 70 km of down-hill and cross country runs covering beginners, advanced and expert pistes. The highest ski run is 2,600 meters above sea level and the longest track combo is 16 km downhill.
 
For the youngsters discovering skiing, suitable facilities include 2 children's ski lifts and a moving conveyor that is perfect for smaller children. The area has a specially equipped ski kindergarten with a ski run, ski-roundabout, children's slalom, tunnel and other imaginative and entertaining aids and facilities.
