The Region

The Razlog and Bansko area is ideally situated in south-west Bulgaria close to the Greek, Macedonian and Serbian borders.  A unique quality of this region is it’s location between three major mountain ranges in Bulgaria, Rila, Pirin and Rhodopi.  There are numerous sightseeing opportunities for visitors to the area, including excursions to the Rila Monastery, Rozhen Monastery and towns of Melnik, Sofia, Plovdiv, Thessaloniki (Greece) to name just a few.
