International Jazz Festival 8 - 13 August '08

The International Jazz Festival in Bansko is one of the biggest and most prestigious musical events in Bulgaria. It is also the oldest jazz festival in the country whose international popularity has been growing progressively over the years. The jazz festival is traditionally held during the firs half of August. Thousands of people gather every night at the central town square to enjoy the jam sessions of famous jazz musicians.
The Bansko jazz festival is happy to welcome for the first time the famous Freddy Cole, USA, named to be on of the swing Kings, as well as representatives from Japan, Serbia, Poland, Russia and many others.
Following on the growing number of participants and visitors to the Festival this year there will be a second stage featuring jazz musicians. It is going to be situated on the meadow close to hotel Royal Towers.
