The first international mountain running competition in the Pirin Mountains White Fir Run had a successful start – the first of many to follow, on Saturday, 31^st May 2008.  Organized by White Fir Resort in conjunction with the Municipality of Razlog and the Bulgarian Athletics Federation we were happy to see the Mayor of Razlog - Mr. Tatarski to participate as well as the Bulgarian champions in this discipline Mustafa Shaban and Yvette Sotirova. Another 140 participants from all ages joined the Run and the entertainment programme during the competition. The first person to finish the 5km Mounatin Run was Dimcho Micov from Sapareva Bania with the astonishing time of 00:34:21. The fastest woman was Vania Stoyanova from Nova Zagora, who finished less than 6 minutes after Dimcho Micov. For more detailed information, please check Official Results_08!
